Dental inventory that counts itself,
procedure by procedure
Tell Synora which materials each procedure uses, and stock goes down on its own when the work is completed — with an alert before anything runs out.
Included in Pro.
Synora's dental inventory keeps stock per store — a central store, branch stores and chair cabinets — in a ledger of every receipt, use, count and transfer. Completing a procedure deducts its materials automatically, and the inventory screen lists items at their reorder level, expiring or expired. Inventory is part of Pro.
| Plan | Pro |
|---|---|
| Stores | A central store, branch stores and chair cabinets |
| Items | SKU, barcode, Arabic and English names, a base unit and pack size, a reorder level; batch and expiry tracking for the items that need it |
| Ledger | Receipts, issues, adjustments, counts, transfers, procedure use, returns and write-offs of expired or damaged stock. A correction is a new entry, never an edit. |
| Automatic deduction | The materials you set per procedure leave the branch's store (or the central store) when the procedure is completed; the batch that expires first goes first |
| Shortfalls | A short shelf never blocks the procedure: the shortfall is flagged in the ledger |
| Transfers | Stock leaves the sending store when the transfer is made and arrives when it is counted on receipt; any shortfall is recorded as a loss |
| Alerts | On the inventory screen: at or below the reorder level, expiring, expired |
| Barcodes | A barcode scanner, or a typed SKU, finds the item |

You find out you are out of composite when the patient is in the chair. Counting stock by hand is slow and always a little wrong, and the gap shows up as waste or as a cancelled visit.
Stock you can trust
Items and warehouses
Keep every material and consumable, with stock held per warehouse.
Materials per procedure
Set the materials a procedure uses once; completing the procedure deducts them automatically.
A full movement ledger
Every receipt, use, adjustment and transfer is recorded, so a number can always be explained.
Transfers between warehouses
Move stock from the main store to a treatment room's cabinet and receive it at the other end.
Low-stock alerts
See what is running low before it runs out.
What doesn't it do yet?
- No purchase orders: suppliers are kept on file, and stock comes in as a receipt.
- Low-stock and expiry alerts show on the inventory screen only; they aren't sent by email or WhatsApp.
- The automatic deduction never takes from a chair cabinet: it uses the branch's store, or else the central store.
- Material costs are not deducted from a dentist's commission.
